SunningHillJill Kids was inspired by a caring neighborhood and a heartfelt gift of an iPad to Jill's 15 year old son who had just undergone his second major operation for a rare form of kidney cancer. She will never forget his words that day when he received his iPad while recovering and during a time when their family was coming to terms with this completely ‘out of the blue’ diagnosis. His exact words were, “This is the best day of my life!”
An iPad can provide connection and entertainment, while also showing love and compassion to a child and their family undergoing long treatments and recovery times.
SunningHillJill Kids was created to provide as many 'BEST DAYS OF THEIR LIVES' as possible for kids undergoing treatment for cancer or a chronic blood disease through Jill’s passion of sharing easy peasy ways to provide delicious nourishing food to family and friends.

Our hope at SunningHillJill Kids is that these gifts will allow moments of joy and discovery, giving the children time away from their daily challenges.
Approximately 7 children a week are diagnosed with cancer and other chronic blood diseases at Levine Children’s Hospital. That is roughly 25 per month or 300 per year!
Treatment for these children can be 5 days a week and up to 8 hours per day!
In 2016 Levine Children’s Hospital was nationally ranked by U.S. News & World Reports as one of the "Best Children’s Hospital" in 6 Specialties including Cancer Treatment.
Your donations impact these children and their families NOW. SunningHill Jill Kids provides a minimum of 30 iPads per month to Levine Children's Hospital Hematology and Oncology Center as well as approximatley 200 books and 20 Family Gift Bags each month.
